SOME THINGS PERISHABLE

For May 1, 2014, I was asked by NEST in den Hague (NL) to make a ‘One NEST stand’. The short timespan of such an event fitted right in with the research I have been occupied with myself lately and I saw the opportunity to invite other artists, both close and unknown to me, with works that together will touch the same subject matter. Works that reflect on the short time we live, the traces we leave behind and the poetry that while living, we know that everything will always perish.

Artists;

Daniëlle van Ark, Niels Albers, Frank Ammerlaan, Saskia de Brauw, Popel Coumou, Amie Dicke, Maarten Rots, Batia Suter

Four exclusive hours; one hour vernissage, two hours exhibition and one hour finissage (an hour for every season of the year).

Opening at 8pm with an opening word by Charlott Markus

Finissage music from 11 pm by Radna Rumping

You are warmly welcome!

Made possible with the kind support of Mondriaan Fonds & Nest - platform for contemporary art.
